Achievements

I was in 7th grade. One of the best thing happened to me was joining Robotics Course @ Kidobotikz. I started to realize my profound passion for Robotics. This year, I had my first win as a rookie in the field of Robotics. Oh my God! I still could not believe the excitement I had after winning my first robotics competition.

  • Robo Soccer @ Kidobotikz Robo Games (Winter Edition)  – 2nd Prize
By the end of this year, I was doing the expert level of my Robotics course @ Kidobotikz. I don’t recall missing any class as i was thoroughly motivated, having so much fun and I pretty much lived at the institute throughout the year.  I had participated in most of the events conducted by Kidobotikz and I was also allowed to attend few external events. This year, I started to see results of all the extensive hands-on practical and theoretical  knowledge gained from the course. I started to participate in events where I could compete with engineering students. Thanks to Kidobotikz!

After learning the basics of Algorithms and control systems, I went on to implement PID control system on my line tracer with which I was able to improve the overall speed and efficiency of the robot. This year I participated in more Robotic events and several inter school science exhibitions and competitions.

This year I was in 11th grade and had to spend more time toward my academics and getting used to additional challenges and work load that junior college students experience.  This year I started learning Java and Python and started to use them on my Robotics projects using Raspberry Pi. This helped me immensely with my AP Computer Science A test.

  • Inter-School Cultural Fest @ DAV Public School – 1st Prize

A very crucial year for me as I was preparing for college. It was challenging to maintain a good balance with academics while handling a large project such as NASA space settlement design competition.

  • Inter-School Robotics Competition @ Chinamaya Vidyalaya – 1st Prize
  • NASA Space Settlement Design Competition – 1st Prize
  • ISA event – 2nd Prize

Hurray! I made it to University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. All the effort I had put in over the years helped me. A dream come true for me.
